 Usually we provide accommodations for students and volunteers, which are small houses or appartments. Big enough for 4 persons. We rent these apartments or houses and make an agreement with the owners that you can live there for a specific time. If the apartments are empty we furnish them with the basic necesities: - beds + matrasses - table + chairs - kitchen supply - a stove and refrigerator We cannot furnish them with a lot of luxury like sofas, computers, extra tables, closets etc. The time you're staying is only a short time and we need to move these furniture quickly after you've left. It is possible to have a fully furnished appartment or house, but that cost extra. You have to take care of bed linnen and your own personal things like tooth brush, shampoo etc. We will take care of small maintenance: a running tab, a toilet that doesn't flush etc. However, Mexico is different than most European countries and students/volunteers are responsible for damages within the apartment. For example damages to walls, floor, paint, toilet, sink etc is your responsibility. Usually with damages you can ask your insurance if they cover it. In the price you pay we also provide: gas, water, electricity and internet. On the moment you arrive we have these installed and you can use these services.
